Markus Bekel has been kind enough to allow us to host his 5 part UV mapping tutorial for complete beginners. It takes you through uv mapping a gun from start to finish and is highly descriptive with voiced guidance throughout. He uses Ultimate Unwrap 3D in his tutorials which is a must for the modder of many many games. So go check them out. There are 5 parts, all in HQ up on The Viewscreen. I recieved an e-mail from a guy who mods freelancer, he wishs to get his mod out to the trek community and has asked if we would consider hosting mods for non trek games. The answer of course is yes, we will host any mod from any game, so long as it is trek. I have set up a new section for this, called Other Games, thus far it has just one sub-section, Freelancer. If you would like your mod hosted mail me and i will set up a section for you to upload your work to. On an aside, with the closure of chessmess`s site (startrek-games.com) the trek community has suffered a great loss, not least is the fact that chess focused on trek related game news. So should you pick up any interesting tid-bits please feel free to post it here, or if you wish to be a total trek reporter send me a private message on the forums and we can chat about what such a post would entail  I myself have no idea on how to rummage out news , as i got news from chess and of course zack over at hailing frequency Remember guys, this is our community, lets keep it vibrant.

Star Trek Armada 1 News. We have a exclusive for you today. We have Phantom, a member here at Star-Trek-Mods.com, with a exclusive first look at the textured version of the U.S.S ENTERPRISE: NCC 1701-F. I must say it looks great. Nice work Phantom. :) Here are the screenshots. :)
