Charging
Files uploaded to this site will be provided to the masses free of charge. Do not expect payment for you shall receive none. Star-trek-mods.com hosts files so that game players may continue to enjoy the games that they have bought in a way that was not originally possible. By uploading files for free, you acknowledge that your content is only made possible by the original game creator or developer and that they ultimately hold the exclusive licence for the development of whatever game you are modifying.

Mod/File Hosting
Files uploaded to this site remain the property of the person that created them, and may be removed at any time on the request of the creator, or where we receive legitimate requests from third parties due to concerns regarding plagiarism or theft. Please remember that by uploading files you are giving permission to the masses for the free use of your files. If you don't want people to use your files, don't upload them in the first place! Where possible, please also provide valid contact details so that users may contact you in future. There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to contact the owner of files or content that you wish to use.

No Pornographic Material
Any sexually-oriented imagery, links to such content, or uploads of such material will not be tolerated. This one is at least a month ban, up to indefinite outright ban, depending on level of content. If your going to post that on this site, you are not welcome here anyway. Bans will include IP Address blocks, so don't think you can get around a ban by reregistering.

No Warez or Illegal Software
This includes linking to software, posting about it, and suggesting to get it. First offence is a warning. Repeat offenders face a 2 week ban. After this it will be site wide or network wide banning for at least a month.

No Cursing or Swear words
We encourage you to use our comment sections as a forum to debate files, news, etc., but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We're not asking for users to post messages using the Queen's English, but we will not tolerate abuse directed toward another member or author. Any usage of foul language will result in a warning appearing in their post or the removal of their content. Users that persistently flout the rules may be banned from the forums, the site, or, in extreme cases, the entire network.

No Attacks/Retaliation of any kind against a member, or group of members

We have provided this network to allow people to share mod files and opinions, not to allow people to slang abuse at each other.

No Spamming or Advertising
Anyone who posts nonsense messages or advertises boldly another website that is not appropriate to the discussion just to generate traffic will be disciplined. If you are caught doing this again then it will be a 2 day ban. This again will get worse until you get banned from the completely from the site, and in extreme cases, the entire network.
